By reading the scripture above each day you will read the Old Testament through in one year and the New Testament through twice in a year. This will change your life. Start Today!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"Never before had there been a king like Josiah, who turned to the Lord with all his heart and soul and strength, obeying all the laws of Moses. And there has never been a king like him since." (2 Kings 23:25 NLT.)

TODAY'S WORD
, I love the words said of Josiah, "never before had there been." Wouldn't you love those words to be said about you? This is an amazing passage of Scripture, not king David, not king Solomon, not other kings...what set Josiah apart from all the rest of the kings and leaders was his passion for the Lord. He was a radical follower of God. He didn't do anything half way. It was all the way or it wasn't going to happen.

How's your passion? Be honest. It's easy to loose it, easy to go luke warm. Passion has a way of fading. Life has a way of stealing our passion, squeezing us into a mold we really don't want to be a part of. Soon we find ourselves wanting to find something to be passionate about. The voices around us call us to be a part of them and the sound of the Lord grows fainter and fainter. But it doesn't have to be this way.

Today, is a new day. Today you can ask God for a fire and a heart that will be full of passion for Him. I have found that my daily time is vital for a renewed passion. Passion is a gift of the Holy Spirit, but we must be willing to face the truth and be willing to change. God has great plans for you...be willing to walk in them today.

A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY

Father in heaven I ask that You would speak to me personally by Your Spirit. I am not afraid of truth. I desire it. As I embrace it, cause Your holy fire to burn within my heart. Let its intensity consume me, causing me to love what You love and hate what You hate. Open my eyes to see Jesus more clearly than ever before. I acknowledge that He is the revealed Word of God and the Truth. I thank You in advance for changing my life by Your message within your Word in Jesus' name. Amen.

, we really do love you and we pray God's Blessing in your life!
