A New Season
Rita and I feel we have been called into a new vocational season, and I informed Pastor Brad of my decision earlier this month. As I take some time to reflect on my thirteen years as Senior Pastor of Eastside and in a supportive role at Anthem Church last year, I want to thank you for the privilege it has been to serve you, and praise God for the grace he has shown me.
I Love Jesus When Rita and I showed up in 2002 to start Eastside, little did we know what would take place. From watching God move in a miraculous fashion with the hotel and ministry center, to my role as a business partner in LAM and Genesis, to a devastating fire, to our move into the Anthem Family - it has been a very wild and wonderful journey! Through all of this, I have seen Jesus in a way I never could have imagined and have grown more in love with Him than ever before. He really did birth a mission-based entrepreneurial revolution in my heart that I must now follow and share in other places... I Love My Family Rita and I married right out of college and have been in full-time ministry for over 27 years. Rita is amazing; a true gift from God and Alyssa is the pride and joy of our life. God has opened up another ministry center hotel in Kalispell Montana and our family has really come to love Montana as our home. We have just a few more years as a family before Alyssa goes off to college. We want to take in these precious moments left and really enjoy them as a family. We have worked very hard over these 26 years and now we have a chance for a family season. I Love Pastor Brad and Lisa Pastor Brad has really had an impact on my life because of his willingness to embrace the Eastside Church family...and my family when we had no place else to go. I am eternally grateful for the impact he has had in the Kingdom and I look forward to continuing to build our friendship long into the future. I Love the People of This Church Eastside and Anthem have been and continue to be made up of thousands of people whom Jesus brought together as part of His church. This passion for Jesus and His mission is incredible, and I am absolutely honored to be counted as part of it. Impact in Ministry Continues Rita and I believe that it is now time for us to launch into full-time ministry with KingdomPoint and Nehemiah Project teaching Biblical Entrepreneurship, and helping to disciple business men and women who are called into the Marketplace. We are so excited to see what Jesus does in the next season of all of our lives. If it's anything like the last one, we're all in for a great ride and grace beyond our expectations! |
