By reading the scripture above each day you will read the Old Testament through in one year and the New Testament through twice in a year. This will change your life. Start Today!
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

"Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty." (Isaiah 6:5 NIV)

TODAY'S WORD

, Isaiah chapter 6 is an exciting portion of Scripture. In a vision Isaiah says he saw the Lord and he is overwhelmed. He feels that he is doomed as he cries out, "Woe to me, I am ruined. For I am a man of unclean lips and I live among a people of unclean lips and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty."

Then an angel came and reassuringly said, "Your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for."

What a wonderful message. It is the very same message that Jesus wants us to hear. He has atoned our sins. It feels so good.

Then something really wonderful happened to Isaiah. The Lord said to him, "Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?"

God is asking for a representative to cry out to the people and He included Isaiah in the appeal. God did not say who will go for me. He said, "Who will go for us?"

For the person who speaks for God speaks for the whole family. The father and the children. Who will speak for us? This is not just God's cause. It is our cause. All of us are in this together. God has included us.

Isaiah very powerfully responded, "Here am I send me."

The call is still there today. God is calling you and me and saying Who will go for us. The world needs to hear.

Let's you and me both say, "Here am I send me." Let us this very day respond to God's call to be His man, His woman, His boy, His girl wherever He needs someone.

A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY

Father in heaven, I want to respond to your call. Send me, let me be the one who goes. Thank you for your great grace in my life. In Jesus Name. Amen.

We sure love you!
